Innovation is essential in today's world. It's how we continue to move forward and maintain our ability to serve our community and our customers. In fact, Alphapointe has many patents for products we've developed. Take, for instance, our tourniquet, which has been deployed with first responders and the military, helping save lives in many places around the world. To make products like these, our team works directly with the Department of Defense and subject matter experts from the military to find innovative answers for the military personnel, law enforcement, emergency medical, and firefighting communities. More than that, all of our products - including this tourniquet - put people at risk of unemployment or underemployment to work. #innovation #workforcedevelopment #manufacturing #patented #blind #visionloss [Image description: Alphapointe products often touch many hands and impact many lives. This is one of our patented tourniquets, which is being sewn by a staff member who works for Alphapointe subsidiary, Rightfully Sewn, which uses sewing and fashion to create jobs for at risk people in our community]

Honoring the Unsung Heroes: Women Ordnance Workers (WOW) 👩🫡🔧 As we celebrate Women’s history month, I encourage you to take a moment to also remember and honor the trailblazing Women Ordnance Workers (WOW). A lessor known group of incredible women from WWII.During World War II, these courageous women stepped into critical roles, manufacturing ammunition and munitions, crucial for the war effort. Their skill, determination, and dedication helped pave the way for future generations of women in defense and technical fields. The WOWs broke barriers and challenged stereotypes, proving women could excel in traditionally male-dominated roles. They didn't just contribute to the war effort; they reshaped the workforce and redefined women's roles in society.Today, we see their legacy lives on in the Ammo profession of the Air Force, where women continue to play a vital role in safeguarding our nation. Their contributions are a testament to the strength, resilience, and capabilities of women in all aspects of life.Let's spread the word about Women Ordnance Workers and their invaluable contributions. Their story is not just a chapter in history; it's an ongoing inspiration for equality, excellence, and empowerment in every field.🔥IYA💣YAS🔥 ‘Get some! 🐸 #WomenInDefense #WOWHeritage #AmmoPride #Empowerment #AirForceLegacy #TrailblazersWomen In Defense Logistics Logistics Officer Association NDIA Logistics Management Division
