Who knew that Shakespeare dude could be so entertaining? References to him abound in this messy but enjoyable movie right down to the use of a remake of Nick Lowe's "Cruel to Be Kind." But you don't have to be a fan of the Bard to like this affable film.

Julia Stiles did a great job with the character by showing her the different sides that she had, at first with hesitancy and then regain of confidence when finding the one she can actually love. Heath Ledger was very good supporting actor for Julia Stiles' character and doesn't cease to amaze me how his acting is versatile while not being overboard through his expression. The music brings the movie to what a romantic comedy should consist of, which includes lively presence and pure liking to each other.
